Junk Food is an homage to the fleeting resplendence of salty and sweet treats. Indulgent, colorful, and omnipresent these foods represent the American cultural and culinary landscape. However, their playful aesthetic quickly dissolves into a reflection of waste.
Ellis Sant’Andrea (b. 1988, New York) received her BA from the University of Connecticut. She is an artist and graphic designer based in New York City.
